All student TCPS-issued Chromebooks were collected today for imaging. Please know that every student will have access to a Chromebook in all core and SOL classrooms. If your student has a Chromebook at home, please send it to school to ensure that the device is in proper working order. We will have the devices back to students as soon as possible.

TCPS Official Statement:


Due to the timing of the solar eclipse and school dismissal, Tazewell County Public Schools will release students on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 12:00 p.m.

If you can't afford to buy groceries, SNAP may be able to help!


The TCPS School Board announced tonight that the last day of school for students will be Wednesday, June 5, 2024. The last day of school for teachers will be Thursday, June 6, 2024.


Richlands Area: Bus 93 will not run. Buses 30, 84, and 91 will transport those students. Bus 30-Indian Creek to Ravens Nest Branch / Bus 84-Indian Creek after Ravens Nest Branch / Bus 91-McQuire Valley Graham Area : Abbs Valley / Pocahontas Bus 28 will not run. Bus 96 will be delivering all students. Please expect delays.
